We are here!!!

After several weeks of looking forward to the California Adventure, the first day has finally come! Though the weather was working against us, the majority of us made it to Los Angeles. 

We met exchange students from 32 countries all over the world, a lot of students came from Germany and Thailand. We are learning all about all the students and their country, and together we are experiencing California and the American culture and we are all really excited about it.

We already started to make new friends and share stories. It is really good to see all students get along well even though their home countries might have conflicts.

Anyway, the weather was rainy, not like you would expect in the sunny state. After exploring the nice hotel, which is located in south east Los Angeles, we all had dinner and finished the day with a presentation about the upcoming week.

We are tired from the long day, but looking forward to the first day of action, visiting Griffith Observatory and Universal Studios and meeting the students whose flights were delayed and have not yet arrived.
